Different atmosphere to the North American Starbucks I have seen. Full of sixth formers at lunchtime, who are gradually replaced by families throughout the afternoon.
But the best thing about my visits to this Starbucks was the wonderful Christine who was visiting here from Sacramento, California. I was trying to deal with a very sad family situation in my head, and she calmly chatted to me and helped me through it, while she also tried to study a bit, for a couple of hours.
10,000% better experience here from the supposedly evil corporation than I had at two other smaller independent cafes this week, who I will also be reviewing.
